I attended Arizona State University, took a hiatus from college life to move to Albuquerque, New Mexico – and then restarted my higher education by attending the University of New Mexico. With the intention of going to law school, I graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice. I took the LSAT in preparation for law school and then took a 90-degree turn to real estate.

I have served as the Chairperson of the Policy Committee at the Southwest Multiple Listing Service (MLS), I have served as a Director of SWMLS, and I am currently on the NMAR Forms Committee. In November of 2021, I was appointed to the New Mexico Real Estate Commission by Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham. The mission of the New Mexico Real Estate Commission is to protect the public and enhance the professional competence of real estate brokers. The New Mexico Real Estate Commission was created by state law in 1959 and charged with enforcing the Real Estate License Law and the Real Estate Commission Rules. This is a great honor for me to serve in this role.
