A recent article indicates that homes near Trader Joe’s might just be worth more.
Interesting, yes! People love to be near convenience and Trader Joe’s is not only convenient but to me, the store is a complete “lifestyle” button. Great food, great atmosphere, everyone knows your name. If you live within the arm’s reach of a Trader Joe’s, you probably don’t have to have as large of a kitchen…this is what I’m thinking. Your Albuquerque home would not have to store as much, just walk over to get those perfect green beans!
The article, published in the MPA publication, shows the flip rates for homes near grocery stores such as Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s and Aldi’s – had different rates of return than homes that were not at an arm’s reach of these types of stores.
In essence, be aware of the amenities and lifestyle features that your next home will enjoy – location is everything!
